The new production facility is taking shape

The expansion of our production site in Malaysia is making visible progress – we're happy to take you along to the construction site.

In April, we reported on the planned expansion of our production capacity as well as a new production line for compression-bonded NdFeB magnets in Malaysia. Since then, quite a lot has happened: the future production areas are increasingly taking shape.

Milestone reached: Second half of the hall taken over

A key step has been completed – Bomatec now has possession of the second half of the hall. This gives us the additional space we need for expanding production and installing the new equipment.

From dismantling to building up

Work has been in full swing over the past few weeks: existing structures were dismantled, and the hall was prepared for its new use. New walls, ceilings, and technical installations are currently being built – step by step, the individual production areas are taking shape.

At the same time, we are already preparing the infrastructure so that the future production machines can be positioned, installed, and networked promptly. This is about more than just additional space – the focus is on optimally coordinated production processes and efficient use of the new hall structure.

Keeping the goal firmly in sight

With every construction phase, what is being created here becomes more tangible: a modern, high-performance expansion of our production site in Malaysia. The start-up of the new production line for compression-bonded NdFeB magnets is still planned for the first half of 2027 – and we are on track.
